I seek to compose sacred music for the liturgy which is simple, singable, and beautiful; music which reflects the simplicity of Gregorian chant, the beauty of polyphony, and text which reflects the richest parts of our Catholic tradition in a style worthy of the solemnity and dignity of the Mass.

Included in this package are both the “Leader’s Resource Guide” and a “Participant Workbook” for a three part study and prayer series on sections of Handel’s Messiah: one for Advent, one for Christmas and one for Lent.
The “Leader’s Resource Guide” intended for the leader of the group. It provides background notes to Isaiah and especially to Handel’s oratorio, which is a relatively unknown form of music today. The second part is a “Participant Workbook” for participants who wish to write down ideas God’s Spirit brings to mind.
Gloria in excelsis Deo, A Festival Gloria is a joyful setting of the Gloria of the Mass. The melody is simple and jubilant, suitable for feasts and solemnities or Sunday Masses. The first two phrases are in Latin, while the rest of the text is in English. The entire text is meant to be sung by both congregation and choir.

Pange Lingua Gloriosi is a motet written SATB schola and SAB trio. Drawing inspiration from Gregorian Chant and contemporary classical harmonization, this motet is straight-forward and beautiful. It is appropriate for liturgical use as an offertory or post-communion meditation at Mass.
